Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 13 March 2026

Welcome to IRA International School, Rajahmundry. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website (www.irainternationalschool.com or any subdomain) and all interactions related to admissions, enrollment, education services, and school facilities.

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, applying for admission, or enrolling your child, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.

1. Admissions & Enrollment

  • Admission is at the sole discretion of the School Management based on availability of seats, age criteria, entrance assessment (if applicable), previous academic records, and interview (where required).
  • Admission is provisional until all required documents are submitted and fees are paid in full as per the schedule.
  • Age eligibility must comply with Andhra Pradesh government / CBSE norms (if applicable). False information regarding age or documents will lead to cancellation of admission without refund.
  • The School reserves the right to refuse or cancel admission if any information provided is found incorrect or if the student/parent does not adhere to School rules.
  • Once admitted, the student is expected to attend regularly. Minimum 75–80% attendance is mandatory (as per board norms) unless exempted for valid medical reasons with documentation.

2. Fees & Payment

  • Fees are payable as per the published schedule (quarterly / monthly / annually). Late payment may attract a fine as decided by the Management.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable except in cases specified below. No refund of registration/admission fee or caution deposit (if any) under any circumstances.
  • Fees may be revised annually with prior intimation. Parents will be informed via notice/circular.
  • Fee payment must be made through approved modes only (bank transfer, online gateway, etc.). The School does not accept cash for large amounts.
  • Non-payment of fees for two consecutive terms may result in the student being barred from attending classes/exams and/or name removal from rolls (with re-admission subject to clearance of dues + fine).
  • Transport, canteen, uniform, books, or extracurricular fees are separate and non-refundable once service commences.

3. Withdrawal & Refund Policy

  • Withdrawal requires one full calendar month’s written notice (or payment in lieu thereof).
  • Refund of tuition fees (if any) is subject to Management discretion and usually only if withdrawal is before the academic session starts or within the first 15 days (minus processing charges).
  • No refund for mid-session withdrawal except in exceptional cases (e.g., transfer due to government job relocation with proof) — subject to pro-rata adjustment and Management approval.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) will be issued only after clearing all dues and returning School property (books, ID card, uniform if issued).

4. Code of Conduct & Discipline

  • Students must follow School rules, uniform policy, attendance norms, and behave respectfully towards staff, peers, and property.
  • Any act of indiscipline, bullying, damage to property, use of unfair means, or violation of safety rules may result in warning, suspension, or permanent expulsion without refund.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s conduct and must cooperate with the School in maintaining discipline.
  • The School is not responsible for loss of personal belongings. Students should not bring valuable items.

5. Medical & Safety

  • Parents must inform the School in writing about any medical condition, allergy, or medication required by the child.
  • In case of medical emergency, the School will provide first aid and contact parents/guardians. The School is not liable for any medical treatment costs.
  • The School maintains CCTV for safety (footage is confidential and used only for security purposes).
